Get digital support

In an ever-evolving digital world, we believe that nobody should be left behind. We are determined to help our residents to develop their digital skills and get online. Digital support is available in your local area to help you get online and develop the digital skills and confidence you need.

Whether you’re a complete beginner and want to start with the basics, can do a little but want to know more, or need advice on how to support somebody close to you, we have something on offer to help.

Get digital support from your local library

All our library staff are Digital Champions, which means they are experts at supporting individuals to learn basic digital skills and help them get online. You can request digital support by dropping into our libraries, calling 0161 912 3189 or by completing our online form

All of our libraries have free WiFi so you are welcome to bring your own device along with you or you can borrow a device from the library.

Digital Drop Ins

Digital drop in sessions are free to access and open to everyone. These sessions are a great place to learn more about your device and develop your online skills whilst having a chat and a cup of tea. Find a list of all of the digital drop in sessions available across the borough.
