Within the borough of Trafford there is a Crematorium and 5 cemeteries:

• Altrincham Crematorium
• Dunham lawn cemetery
• Hale cemetery
• Sale cemetery
• Stretford cemetery
• Urmston cemetery

Opening times

Our sites are open every day of the year 

April - September

Monday to Friday: 8am to 7pm

Weekend: 9am to 4:30pm

October to March

Monday to Friday: 8am to 4:30pm

Weekend: 9am to 4:30pm

Please note that the last admission is 15 minutes before closing time.

Bank Holiday opening hours

9am - 4:30pm (with the exception of Christmas day which is 8:30am - 4:30pm).

Office hours

Administration for all sites is carried out at Altrincham Crematorium. The office is located by the main gates and is open:

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.
