The closed circuit television (CCTV) in Trafford is continuously monitored by our 24 hour Control Room. The Police are informed of suspicious incidents as they arise and can be directed to the exact location by CCTV operators.

CCTV helps us to:

• protect public areas
• deter and detect crime
• assist in the identification of offenders, leading to their arrest and successful prosecution
• reduce anti-social behaviour
• reduce the fear of crime
