Remembrance Sunday

Each year, both in Trafford and nationally we take time to remember those service men and women who have given their lives in both world wars and more recent conflicts.

The Royal British Legion is the largest national Armed Forces charity and supports serving and ex-serving personnel all year round. They also lead the nation in commemorating and honouring those who have served and sacrificed through Remembrance.

We host a number of Remembrance services across the borough. Details of each service will be published and in local press from October each year. If you would like to lay a wreath or take part in a parade contact armed.forces@trafford.gov.uk.
