Who we are:

The Manchester Airport Academy team works with a variety of different customers and trainees, supporting them on their journey to a thriving career at Manchester Airport. The short courses which typically run for two weeks take place at the Airport itself, in our bespoke training classrooms. Working within the airport we are able to give learners first-hand experience working within this fast-paced environment.

Our Courses:

The two to three week course is provided by Trafford College and designed for most roles required by the airport. It’s a groundbreaking project that was introduced to meet the skills shortage experienced by the airport, who require workers already up to speed in the many varied skills required.

Our courses help learners to become work ready improving; confidence, self-esteem and inter-personal skills. The Airport Academy then ensures candidates’ job prospects really take off by actively seeking out airport vacancies for them to fill. Through a number of our courses individuals are guaranteed an interview with employers, as well as having the potential to progress onto a Level 2 course with the College.

Employability & Training:

We’re here to support you on your journey to a job at the airport. The Airport Academy team works with a variety of different customers and trainees, offering short courses and a potential progression to a Level 2 programme.

The Level 2 programme will help you to become work ready, improving confidence, self-esteem and interpersonal skills. The academy then ensures your job prospects really take off by actively seeking out airport vacancies for you to fill.

The academy team will help anyone who wants to find work at Manchester Airport. They are more than happy to spend time reviewing your CV and aspirations. The team will also talk to you in detail around the different types of roles available and ensure that you get the job that is right for you.
