Open+ access

Woodsend Library has Open+ installed to enable the opening hours of the library to be extended beyond the hours that staff are present. If you would like to access the library outside staffed times call in at any library, or ring our Contact Centre on 0161 912 3189 and ask about Open+ access to selected libraries.

Stock available

Items which are not available at this branch but are available from another Trafford library can be requested free of charge. There are also a large selection of eBooks, eAudio, eNewspapers and eMagazines available via Borrowbox.

  • Non-fiction books ranging from popular interest topics to more academic subjects

For 14+

  • A wide range of material chosen to appeal to this age group

For children

  • Stories for all ages from the youngest up to 13+
  • Junior non-fiction
  • Talking Books on CD

  • Computer facilities, including access to the Internet, are available to library members via People's Network PCs. There is a PC adapted for use by customers with disabilities
