Open+ libraries

We have introduced Open+ technology to some of our libraries. This allows you to use the library for extra hours each week, outside staffed hours.

You just need to scan your card at the terminal, enter your PIN and go into the library. 

Whilst in the library you can borrow and return books, pick up reservations, photocopy/print and use the public PCs or the Wi-Fi on your own device. Face to face information, advice and guidance, are available during our staffed hours.

Toilet Facilities are not available when the library is in Open+

To use Open+ you need to sign-up at any library in Trafford and provide proof of address (for example council tax bill, utility bill or bank statement). You must be at least 16 years old to use this service.

The following libraries have Open+ installed - Altrincham, Coppice and Woodsend.
