Trafford Council is reminding self-employed residents that they may be eligible for support via Covid-19 business grants.
Applications to the Council’s Discretionary Grant scheme (ARG) are invited from self-employed businesses based in residential properties. This includes taxi drivers running their own business who are Trafford residents.
Full details of eligibility and how to apply can be found on the Council website.
A one-off grant of £2,000 will be provided to companies that meet the qualifying criteria.
Cllr Tom Ross, Trafford Council’s Executive Member for Finance and Governance said:
The Discretionary Grant scheme aims to support as many business as possible in the borough and we are well aware of the need to support the self-employed. If you meet the eligibility criteria please do apply to the scheme and make sure you are accessing all the financial support available during these challenging times.”
The Trafford ARG Scheme will close to applications on 31 March and will be reviewed thereafter.
