Trafford Council is the business when it comes to support!

Businesses looking to bounce back after the huge challenge of the Covid lockdowns are being offered specialist support by Trafford Council.

The message to local firms is: “If you are struggling, please contact us and we will help and advise you as much as we can.”

The local authority is offering special one-to-one advice sessions to let Trafford business owners know what support is available to them in these difficult trading times. Meetings can be held virtually or on a one-to-one basis.

During the informal meetings, a member of the Inclusive Economy and Communities Team will discuss your firm’s requirements post Covid and explain how the Council and local stakeholders can help.

It is important that as many businesses as possible take up the offer of this specialist one-to-one advice to ensure they are aware of the support available to them.

Cllr Mike Freeman, Trafford Council’s Executive Member for Covid19 Recovery and Reform, said:

“The Covid pandemic and the resulting lockdowns were a nightmare for businesses across the country. Many struggled through and several were forced to close and that is heart-breaking for everyone involved.

Could I please appeal to business owners to take advantage of the one-to-one advice sessions being offered by the Council. A specialist officer will be able to give you the most up-to-date advice on the support that is available to you. This could make a real difference and, you never know, it could be the massive boost that your business needs.”
