Not cleaning up dog fouling is a form of anti-social behaviour and those who fail to pick up after their dogs display a disregard for other people, public health and the local environment.

It is illegal not to clean up after your dog and a £50 Fixed Penalty Notice will be given to dog owners who fail to comply. Non-payment can result in a prosecution and a fine of up to £1000. It is no defence to claim ignorance of a dog's actions.

Help us to make Trafford a cleaner and greener borough by clearing up after your dog.
