Commissioned Consultations

Empowering Muslim Youth Project (EMY) have been commissioned to undertake a piece of research around Forced Marriages and Honour Based Violence, particularly based around Trafford. We have created an on-line public survey as part of the research to gain the views and experiences of residents in Trafford and Greater Manchester around this issue.

We would be grateful if you could take the time to complete this questionnaire where your views and comments may be taken into account to help identify any future provisions in Trafford. Please also forward this link to your relevant contacts and any adults/young people 16+ that you may work with who are also invited to join the focus groups.

Complete the survey

The survey responses are anonymous and will be used to help compile a research report which will help develop future partnership work within Trafford. It should take no longer than 5-10 minutes to complete.

If you would like to take part in the stakeholder consultations or are working with any adults/young people who would be interested in taking part in the focus groups, please contact myself (anesha.pandor@yahoo.com) or my colleague Farah Khan (cultureclicks@yahoo.co.uk) as early as possible. The focus groups are open to members of the public and we are looking for a wide representation of participants.

Government Consultations

Also central Government is consulting on a high number of policies, plans and proposals. To make it easy for local residents to give their views, we are publishing a continuously up-dated list of key consultations which are of relevance to the Trafford area. If you wish to respond to any of these consultations, please follow the guidance provided in the consultation document.

Please note that this list is a selection and does not entail all ongoing consultations. If you are aware of other consultations which should be included, or have any comments or feedback, please send an email to anesha.pandor@trafford.gov.uk
