Help with childcare costs

The government has a package of support available to help families with the cost of childcare. This includes:

The early education entitlements of 2 year old funding, universal 3&4 year old funding and 30 hours
Universal Credit where families can claim up to 85% of eligible childcare costs
Tax Free Childcare where families can receive a contribution of up to £2000 per year, per child (this increases to £4000 for children with a disability)
Information about support with the cost of living is available through the Help For Households campaign
An online online calculator is available through the Childcare Choices Service where you can identify what support best suits your circumstances.

The government have announced an expansion to the existing childcare offer, information is available.
