Proposed Urmston to Sale Water Park cycle route improvement scheme

Details of the proposal

Following a successful bid to Highways England for improved cycle infrastructure, the One Trafford Partnership is exploring some options that will improve cycle routes between Urmston and Sale Water Park.

Also, included within the scope of the scheme are planned accessibility improvements at Jackson’s Boat Bridge. A new bridge structure is proposed, along with new improved approach ramps that will meet current standards and provide improved access for users.
