Overview
If you want to place removable furniture, such as tables and chairs, outside your business on the adopted highway, then you must submit an application and be granted a licence by us.
Once you have applied, you should display a populated Public Notice at your premises for 14 days. This is considered a public consultation.
All information provided in your application and relevant supporting documents will be made available to any person who requests a copy of the application during the public consultation period.
Following the 14-day consultation period, we will then consider your application. We may also contact you to suggest amendments to your proposed arrangement or to request further information.
Once you have been granted a licence, you should fill out the payment form and sent it to traffordstreetworks@amey.co.uk.
