Door supervisors only need one licence to work anywhere in England and Wales. This is called an SIA licence.
It is against the law to work as a door supervisor without an SIA licence.

The Government set up the Security Industry Authority (SIA), who now manage the licensing of the private security industry.

If you want to apply for a licence you will need to have a DBS check.
The SIA will only a grant licence if you have the right skills and training to do the job.
