If you are in an emergency, call 999.
If you are worried about someone being radicalised in violence or terrorism, you should report it.
Reports are sent to the national Prevent programme, which works to stop people from becoming involved in terrorism or supporting it. You can read more about Prevent on GOV.UK.
Prevent is also concerned with reducing threats, risks and vulnerabilities posed by domestic extremists such as those from:
- the far right
- the far left
- extreme animal rights activists
- those involved in Northern Irish related terrorism
Anyone referred to the programme is offered support to help them move away from extremist views.
