We work with local and national services to support victims of hate crimes. 

Support can include:

  • emotional support and counselling
  • help navigating the justice system
  • practical advice and safety planning

The Victims' Code focuses on victims' rights. It sets out the minimum standard that organisations must provide to victims of crime.

Greater Manchester Victim Services (GMVS)

The GMVS provide support to those who have been affected by crime. Their support is free and private. You don’t need to have reported the crime to the police to get support.

Stop Hate UK

Stop Hate UK provide a free, independent 24/7 hate crime reporting helpline. You can make a report on the Stop Hate UK website.

Support for victims of religious hate

British Muslim Trust

The British Muslim Trust provides confidential support and safe reporting for victims and witnesses of anti-Muslim hate across the UK. You can make a report, including an anonymous report, on the British Muslim Trust website.

Community Security Trust (CST)

Community Security Trust (CST) is a charity that protects British Jews from terrorism and antisemitism. You can report an antisemitic incident on the CST website.

LGBT+ anti-abuse charity

Galop works with and for LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse and violence. Their helpline offers emotional support, guidance and help to explore what options may be available to you.
