If you're 18 or older and on a low income, you can get a free SIM card through the National Databank.

How to apply

Visit a Trafford library and ask for a DataBank SIM.

Support for community organisations

Charities and community groups can join the Greater Manchester Databank to give free SIMs and data to residents.

To apply, organisations must:

  • Work with low-income residents
  • Join the Online Centres Network
  • Fill in a short form for the National Databank

This helps people stay connected to services, jobs, and social support.
