The opening of public toilets is not a mandatory service provided by the council. While we aim to offer the best possible service, sometimes our public toilets may be closed due to unforeseen staff absences.
Alternatively, you can use other toilets open to the public in Trafford that are not managed by us, such as:
- Market Hall (Altrincham)
- Stanley Square (Sale)
- Stretford Mall (Stretford)
- Sainsbury’s superstore (Urmston)
Radar toilet key
A Radar toilet key allows people living with a disability to use disabled toilet facilities nationwide, including those with non-visible conditions.
To apply for a radar toilet key, call Access Trafford on 0161 912 2000 or email access.trafford@trafford.gov.uk. You can also apply at any of our Trafford libraries.
Changing Places Toilets
Changing Places Toilets are fully accessible facilities for people who require additional features beyond a standard accessible toilet.
