How to join the challenge

Pop into any library in Trafford to sign up. If you are not already a member, you can join the library at the same time.

You can also sign up on the Summer Reading Challenge website, where you can find book recommendations, rate what you've read, and play online games!

How it works

Complete the challenge by visiting the library six times and reading at least one book over the summer holidays. You will receive stickers and other exciting rewards along the way.

You'll also get the chance to come along to one of our fun end-of-Challenge celebration parties.

What you can read

You can read any books you choose, including:

  • fiction books
  • non-fiction books
  • picture books
  • graphic novels
  • eBooks and eAudiobooks on BorrowBox

Check out the Read to the Beat book collection. The collection is available in our Libraries. You can reserve them on our online catalogue.
