Stop smoking support is available through a number of routes across Trafford where residents can access behavioural support, nicotine replacement therapy and e-cigarettes. 

There are various self-help tools, and support available to help you to reduce your smoking which include:

The NHS quit smoking app

The Smoke Free app allows you to track your progress and get daily support. Its features include:

  • daily missions
  • a quit coach
  • live chat with a stop smoking advisor 24 hours a day, seven days a week
  • money saved tracker
  • monitor your health improvements

The app has been scientifically proven to double a smoker’s chances of quitting and has already helped half a million people to stop smoking.

The stop smoking helpline

The Greater Manchester stop smoking helpline is open between 9am-8pm Monday to Friday or 11am-4pm Saturday and Sunday. You can call on 0300 123 1044.
