Apprenticeship levy gifting
Part of:
Apprenticeships
Our external Levy Gifting Fund offers businesses financial support to pay 100% of the training costs for an apprenticeship qualification from level 2 to 7.
Apprentices must be employed for the duration of their programme and paid at least the National Living Wage for those 21+, regardless of age.
Apprenticeship funding covers the training detailed in the apprenticeship standard; you're responsible for any additional costs like professional registration fees.
Business eligibility
To be eligible for this fund, businesses must:
- Not already be paying into an existing levy pot
- Be a Trafford business or offer services to Trafford Residents
- Use our preferred training provider
- Agree to undertake quarterly check-in meetings with us to advise on the progression of the apprentices
How to apply
Funding applications are not guaranteed; they will be subject to available funds. Responses to requests may take up to a month to be received.
Industry and sector priorities
We will accept requests from any business, but priority will be given to:
- Trafford schools, who are non-maintained and buy our payroll SLA
