Longford Scout Group is looking for new volunteers to help them support nearly 300 children each week.
They need:
Treasurer - to oversee the financial health and compliance of the Scout Group, ensuring good governance, accurate reporting, and long-term financial sustainability.
Group Secretary - to be the main organiser for the Trustee Board. - arranging meetings, recording minutes, managing deadlines, and reporting submissions to the Charity Commission.
Section Team member - to work directly with with the children and young people they support.
There are other volunteering opportunities in:
- general admin
- event planning
- website development
- co-ordinating volunteers
