Various roles at Out There

Out There offers support to families who are affected by the imprisonment of a family member. Visit the Out There website.

The charity is looking for volunteers to help them with various roles.

Adult support volunteers

Responsibilities include:

• Accompanying prison visits
• Wellbeing and emotional support
• Events and group support

Children and young people volunteers

Skills required:

• Experience working with young people with emotional difficulties, or interest in doing so
• A minimum level 3 qualification in youth work or education
• Ability to work on own initiative with an ability to plan and deliver sessions to promote positive mental health and wellbeing
