Apply for work experience

All work experience placements for 2026 are now full. We will reopen applications in September 2026.

Please apply at least six weeks before the date that you want to start your placement.

Who we give priority to

When allocating placements, priority will be given to the following groups:

• Children and young adults in the care of Trafford Council
• Care leavers of Trafford Council / other GM local authorities
• Students who attend a Trafford education establishment (School, College or University)
• Students who are residents of Trafford
