Support to Succeed

Support to Succeed provides individuals with tailored, one-to-one support based on their needs, including:

  • A dedicated advisor to support you
  • Career advice and support, such as help writing your CV and interview preparation
  • Opportunities to gain new skills and work experience
  • Working with specialist services to help you overcome barriers

Individual Placement and Support in Primary Care (IPSPC)

This programme supports people with physical or mental health disabilities to get into sustained employment, or helps them stay in or return to their current job. Read more about the initiative.

United Response

United Response provides support to people with learning disabilities, autistic people and those with mental health needs. Their supported employment service helps individuals prepare for employment and gain professional experience through the following pathways:

  • Project SEARCH (a one-year transition-to-work programme for young adults with learning disabilities and autism in their last year of education)
  • Supported internships
  • Support for 16-24 year olds
  • Workplace support (supporting those already in work to succeed, alongside employer support)

Restart

Restart is a government Scheme providing up to 12 months of support to help you find a job in your local area. It's designed for those currently in the Intensive Work Search Regime (IWSR) and have been on Universal Credit for more than six months.

During the scheme, you'll be matched with a dedicated Advisor who will work with you to develop a personalised plan to help build your confidence, wellbeing, skills and motivation so that you’re ready to move forward and get secure employment.
