Assisted collections

We offer an assisted collection service to any resident who, through age or physical limitation, finds it hard to place their bins out for collection.

After you have applied for the assisted collection service, a member of our team will visit your property to discuss this with you.

You may not qualify for the assisted collection service if:

• You live with another person over the age of 16 who can place your bins out
• Your circumstances change, and you no longer need the support

Collection point

If you are eligible, our team member will decide on a safe collection point with you on your property. The bins will be collected from this point and returned to it after emptying.

The collection point must be clear from obstructions and accessible for the bin crews when they come to collect your bins.
