Report an issue with bins
Various issues can mean your bins are not collected on their normal date.
Before reporting a missed bin, check our disruptions page to see if we have reported an issue on your street.
Missed bins
If your street is not listed on our disruptions page, report your bin as missed within two working days of when it should have been collected. After you report your missed bin, please leave it out.
We normally return to collect bins missed by mistake within two working days.
If a reason is found on the in-cab system for why your bin was not collected, we will close your service request and let you know why.
You should then bring your bin back in, as it will not be emptied before your next scheduled collection.
Request a bin to be removed
You can report a bin to be removed from your property, as well as an abandoned bin in the area.
Other issues with bin collection
You can also report the following online:
- Bin returned to the wrong place
- Rubbish spilt from the bin or bin lorry
- Behaviour of the bin crew
- Damage caused by the bin lorry or crew
