The Trafford Schools Funding Forum is made up of public meetings that play an important role in school funding.
These school forums were created to give schools greater involvement in how funding is distributed within the local authority. They also act as an advisory funding body.
Forums include representatives from maintained schools, academies, early years providers, dioceses, trade unions, and post-16 providers.
The forum has set up two working groups to discuss specific issues and their impact on individual schools before producing draft proposals:
- Mainstream funding
- High needs block
