Before making an appeal

We recommend you find out why your child didn't get a place at the school before you make an appeal. You can find this answer in the school’s admission arrangements on their website.

We also strongly advise you to accept an offer of a school place before you appeal, so your child can still start education should your appeal not be successful. 

If you accept an offer, you can still join a waiting list for another school or continue to submit an appeal.
