Hale Service of Remembrance
Hale is the 2025 Civic Service, attended by the Mayor of Trafford Cllr. Mrs Jane Brophy.
Service information
- Sunday 9 November 2025
- Parade 2:30pm from St Peter’s Church
- Service 3:15pm - Service led by The Rev’d Mike McGurk of St Peter’s Church with the Rev’d Ashley Hardingham.
Memorial location
War Memorial, Broomfield Lane, Ollerbarrow Road, Hale, WA15 9HQ.
Road closure
A rolling road closure will be in place from 2.15pm – 4.30pm.
Parade location
If you want to participate in the parade, arrive at St Peter’s Church no later than 2.15pm. The parade will leave at approximately 2.30pm, arriving at the War Memorial on Broomfield Lane for the start of the service at 3.15pm.
Attendees
If you are not taking part in the parade, arrive at the war memorial no later than 3pm ready for the service to start.
The parade and service will take place in all but extreme weather conditions so dress appropriately.
After the service
The Civic party will make their way back via Westgate to Ashley Road to receive the Salute.
Refreshments will be served in St Peter’s Community Hall following the service.
