Friends of Worthington Park

The Friends of Worthington Park work with Trafford Council and the local community to maintain and improve the park. They’ve helped fund the outdoor green gym and commissioned a plaque celebrating scientist James Prescott Joule, who was born in Sale.

The group also runs events throughout the year, including brass band concerts and carol singing.
