If you need help finding a childcare and early education provider or understanding how your funded hours can be used, contact the Trafford Family Information Service (FIS). They offer free, impartial advice to parents and carers.

You can contact FIS for:

  • Help finding childcare
  • Advice about funded childcare
  • Information about support for children with additional needs
  • Questions about working parent entitlements
  • Help with the Trafford Directory

SEND Local Offer

If your child has additional needs, the SEND Local Offer has information about support, early years services, and specialist pathways in Trafford.

Concerns about your provider

If you have a concern about your childcare and early education provider, speak to the manager or your child’s key person. 

If you have spoken to your provider and are still unhappy, submit a concern on the Ofsted website.

If you are worried about a child’s safety

If you believe a child is at risk of harm, report a concern about a child.
