We can help you access Early Help services, such as children’s centres, parenting classes and our Family Hub network, to give you the range of support you may need as a new parent. 

These services can help you learn what it means to be a parent, support you in developing routines and allow you to meet other parents.

Your aftercare worker can also provide you with reassurance, practical support and information about local groups and services that can help you.

Attending appointments

We can also help you attend doctor, midwife, health visitor appointments and parenting classes, attending with you or waiting outside if this will help you feel more confident.
