Corporate Peer Challenge (CPC)
An independent review praised our ambitious plans. The plans are to help improve the lives of our residents and communities.
The CPC is an assessment organised by the Local Government Association (LGA). Councils receive feedback from other councils. The aim of helping to improve the services they offer.
The review identifies:
- strengths
- challenges
- areas for growth and development
Our review
We had a review in January 2025 and the final CPC feedback report makes 15 recommendations. This sets out:
- how we can further improve
- an action explaining the activity being undertaken to put in place the recommendations
This action plan went to the LGA and published on our website in June. The updated Action Plan was distributed in November.
Follow up visit
A follow up visit with the CPC team took place in November. It was to assess performance in delivering the recommendations.
