As a school
Part of:
How you can get involved
Schools and other education settings can play a key role in addressing the climate crisis.
The government's sustainability strategy for schools encourages all settings to have a sustainability lead and put in place a climate action plan. This includes early years settings, schools, multi-academy trusts, colleges, and universities.
Climate action plans can cover:
- decarbonisation and energy efficiency
- climate adaptation and resilience
- biodiversity and green infrastructure
- climate education, green skills, and green careers
