Prepare your documents

You must provide:

• V5 log book (front page and page 2)
• compliance certificate
• bill of sale
• tint test certificate (see Trafford nominated garages and required documents)
• HPI check (full PDF, dated within 3 months)
• insurance certificate
• insurance schedule (fleet owners only)
• LOLER certificate (for wheelchair accessible vehicles)
• if applying as a company: Basic DBS certificate for each director, dated within 12 months
• if vehicle carries over 4 passengers: photos of the inside and outside of the vehicle

If you do not provide all required documents, your application will be rejected and you will have to start again with a new application and fee.
