We can provide extra assistance if you're eligible for homelessness support, based on your nationality and immigration status in the UK. You are likely to be eligible if you are:

  • A British citizen living in the UK and haven't lived abroad recently
  • In the UK from abroad and can claim welfare benefits

If you are unsure, HOST will assess your situation and let you know if you're eligible. If you are not, we will explain why and offer advice. If you are here illegally, we are required to inform the authorities.
