The six hubs run by voluntary and community organisations across Trafford in Urmston, Stretford, Old Trafford, Sale, Altrincham and Partington will be helping those living with the impact of high food prices, rising energy costs and not knowing where to go for help.

The Council is encouraging residents struggling in the run up to Christmas to pop into their local Community Hub and ask to speak to the Community Hub Coordinator – the timetable for each of the hubs over the holiday period are below.

Three of our Community Hubs also offer opportunities each week to get a free hot drink, soup or meal. The Partington Community Hub will be hosting a free community meal on Christmas Eve.

“Trafford Council and our partners in the six Hubs are totally committed to eradicating poverty from the borough and are doing all we can to help people through the ongoing cost of living crisis.

“Christmas is a time for families, enjoyment, peace and goodwill but some of our residents find it very hard to make ends meet over this period and through the winter. Trafford Council has teamed up with partners to offer help and support to those who need it most in our communities.”
