I am delighted to welcome our new Executive members – they are a great addition and will work relentlessly to improve the lives of our residents. In particular, we will be there for residents when they are at their most vulnerable to support them.

“I have made some changes to the portfolios to reflect the changing needs of our borough. We will remain focused on our priorities, especially achieving the best start for our children and young people, promoting healthy and independent lives for everyone, and delivering a thriving economy and homes for all. We will also continue to promote arts, culture, sports and heritage and address the climate crisis.

“Importantly, we will be focused on achieving a fairer financial settlement for Trafford so we can deliver better roads and services, provide the best education for our children and continue to serve our communities, businesses and residents.”

The Annual Meeting takes place at 6pm on Wednesday 27 May at Trafford Town Hall. It will also be streamed live on the Council’s Youtube channel.
