Planning permission has been granted for 251 new apartments on the site of the former shopping mall in Stretford.
Planning permission has been granted for 251 new apartments on the site of the former shopping mall in Stretford.
Trafford Council's planning committee has approved the application for the joint venture scheme between the local authority and developer Bruntwood.
The development will be made up of 120 one-bed, 115 two-bed and 16 three-bed flats.
A spokesperson for Trafford Council and Bruntwood said:
"Trafford Council and Bruntwood are delighted that the development received planning permission from the committee. The King Street scheme has proved to be a success and now we turn our attention to much-needed housing in the area.”
