If you live in a permit parking area, you may be able to apply for a resident’s parking permit. Depending on the permit zone and property, you may be eligible for one or two permits. Eligibility for permits is determined when a scheme is implemented.
Existing properties with:
Flats/apartments may not be included in a permit scheme unless it's deemed appropriate. If included, they will usually be limited to one annual permit and visitor permits.
Any properties that are converted into residential, or any new properties built within any existing permit scheme, will not be entitled to permits or visitor permits.
Dual permits can be applied for, which are useful if you are only eligible for one annual permit. Two vehicles can be added to the permit, and you select which is active at any time. As dual permits only enable one vehicle to be parked, you must select the active vehicle from your account before it is parked.
