Passenger Assistants are trained in basic First Aid and Epilepsy Awareness. However, in the event of an emergency, Travel Assistants will contact 999 for paramedic support.
They may choose to follow this Emergency Care Pathway or our Epilepsy Care Pathway.
Step 1
The passenger requires emergency care.
Step 2
Park the vehicle safely.
Step 3
Dial 999.
Step 4
Call TTCU on 0161 912 5007 or the emergency contact.
Step 5
If advised by the emergency services, begin first aid.
Step 6
Stay in the vehicle until the paramedics arrive.
