About our allotments
Trafford has 34 allotment sites and over 1,500 plots.
Some sites have community plots where people can learn and volunteer. If you are new to allotments, community plots are a good place to start.

Selling allotment sites
The Council is not planning to sell any allotments. A key action in our allotment strategy is to increase the number of allotments in the area.
We will also use planning policy to encourage new developments to include allotments.
There are strict legal safeguards to prevent the sale of allotment. They can only be sold in very rare cases and after a long legal process. You can find out more on GOV.UK.
