Overview
The fund is generated from entries into the Manchester Marathon and Half Marathon. It is a small grants fund open to:
- community groups
- community sports clubs
- individuals in Trafford that support others to be active
The fund can also support Trafford based athletes competing at a national and inter-national level.
The fund is open to groups or organisations who main beneficiaries are in Trafford. There is a focus on several priority groups and priority places.

- Children and young people (5-19 years old)
- Disabled residents
- Residents with long-term health conditions
- Black and minority ethnic residents
