Overview
The fund is generated from entries into the Manchester Marathon and Half Marathon. It is a small grants fund open to:
- Community groups
- Community sports clubs
- Individuals in Trafford who support others to be active
The fund can also support Trafford-based athletes competing at a national and international level.
The fund is open to groups or organisations whose main beneficiaries are in Trafford. There is a focus on several priority groups and priority places.

- Residents with long-term health conditions
- Black and minority ethnic residents
