Where urban roads are heavily trafficked, there is a need to control parking and stopping to maintain the free flow of vehicles.
A Red Route and a Red Route Clearway are types of Traffic Regulation Order (TRO).
Red Routes in Trafford
Following a TRO consultation, we have installed the following red routes:
- A red route on the A56 from Junction 7 of the M60 to the Manchester City Council boundary and associated side roads
- A red route clearway on the A5081 from Junction 9 of the M60 to White City Circle
