The Council has launched a public consultation on the draft Wharfside Strategic Masterplan.
The Masterplan sets out a proposed vision for the area to support investment and growth over time.

The Council approved the draft Wharfside Strategic Masterplan on 20 July 2026.
A formal 8-week consultation is now open and runs from Tuesday 28 July 2026 to Tuesday 22 September 2026.

You can attend one of our drop-in consultation events. These events are open to anyone who would like to find out more about the draft Masterplan and share their views.

You can share your views by completing a short questionnaire on our consultation portal.
The consultation closes on 22 September 2026.
What happens next
All feedback from the online questionnaire, consultation events and any other sources will be collated, analysed and used to inform the review and revision of the Wharfside Strategic Masterplan.
A final version of the masterplan will be presented to Trafford Council's Executive for adoption in autumn 2026.
