All premises are inspected before a licence is granted. An authorised veterinary surgeon or practitioner will check:

  • the condition of the animal
  • the suitability of the accommodation
  • records and security arrangements

Appeals

If your application is refused, or if you disagree with licence conditions, you can appeal to the Magistrates’ Court.
