Our documentation guidance for licensing provides extra information on what we will or will not accept when applying for a licence.
You must provide:
- V5 log book (front page and page 2)
- compliance certificate
- bill of sale
- tint test certificate (list of Trafford nominated garages)
- HPI check (full PDF, dated within 3 months)
- insurance certificate
- insurance schedule (fleet owners only)
- LOLER certificate (for wheelchair accessible vehicles)
- if applying as a company: Basic DBS certificate for each director, dated within 12 months
- if vehicle carries over 4 passengers: photos of the inside and outside of the vehicle
If you are unable to provide the required documents your application will be placed on hold until they are provided.
