The Education Portal is used for the administration of early education places.

Access the portal

All early education funding is administered through the portal. If you are delivering funded places in schools, private and independent settings, you must have online access to the portal.

What the portal is used for

Access to the portal is required to:

  • Submit a headcount form (which is the termly child-level funding claim)
  • Check eligibility for 2-year-old funding
  • Check eligibility codes for the Working Parent Entitlement
  • Apply for Early Years Pupil Premium and Disability Access Fund
  • Securely exchange information with the Early Years Service

Access the portal

To access the portal, complete the online portal access form. You will receive an email when this has been processed.

Register as a 'new user' on The Education Portal. You can then log in and start to use the system.
